Services

I provide psychotherapy to adults who are seeking help with anxiety and bereavement grief. Using an integrative approach, I tailor treatment to suit the goals and preferences of each client, primarily using Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness and compassion-based therapies. I also draw on interventions from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-focused therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) as appropriate.

Training and Qualifications

I am a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). I am endorsed in the specialised practice area of clinical psychology.

I trained at the Queensland University of Technology, graduating with Distinction from a Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) degree and was awarded the APS College of Clinical Psychologists Student Prize. Prior to this I completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours Psychology) and attained first class honours and was awarded a QUT medal. 

I am a level 2 IFS Therapist and am currently working towards IFS Certification.

I have completed a 2-year professional postgraduate training in Buddhism and Psychotherapy through the Australian Association of Buddhist Counsellors and Psychotherapists (AABCAP) and am a full member.

I am currently completing a 2-year Mindfulness and Compassion Teacher Training Program through the Insight Meditation Institute.
